Welcome Home! Whether you're considering Evangel as your home church or just passing by on the web reading this article is a good way to familiarize yourself with what to expect should you choose to stop by for a Sunday celebration service. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us by: Sundays at Evangel Our main celebration service takes place each Sunday morning at 10:30a. Come one half hour early to prepare your heart for worship in our comfortable Prayer Room (North Overflow). During a Sunday morning celebration service, you can expect about thirty minutes of corporate worship. This time in the service is made up singing, prayer, the public reading of Scripture, and a free-will offering. The central purpose behind this time of togetherness in worship is to prepare our hearts for the preaching of God's Word - the focal point of every service here at Evangel. Evangel Church's preaching is clear, relevant, and biblical. Should you have any questions about the sermon one of our pastors would love to sit down over a cup of coffee to discuss in greater detail any areas of confusion.
What To Bring:
- Please bring your kids! Pastor Carolyn (our Children's Pastor) has a ministry team that is more than capable to not only take care of your children (ages 0-12) but also to provide a bible-based program that will minister to their spiritual needs. Your teenage children will enjoy our services as well. Our corporate worship is blended in style and our preaching is relavant and practical.
- Bring comfortable clothing. Evangel is a church, not a fashion show.
- Bring your bible. If you don't have one, please ask and we'll make sure you get one right away.
- Come as you are. No perfect people allowed.
- Come ready to participate. Church is not a spectator sport, it's an experience!
